Bicentennial Jersey Auction to Start Saturday

OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University Hockey team will commemorate the school's bicentennial this weekend with the donning of a special jersey, but you could take them right off the players' backs.

Beginning Saturday morning at 6 a.m., the Miami Athletics Department is auctioning off the jerseys through the . It can also be reached through the tickets/merchandise link on the top menu bar.

Bidding starts at $25 and will continue until the auction closes on Dec. 17.

Please note that the jerseys will not be shipped to the winning bidder until the conclusion of the season, so that they can be worn again. Also, per NCAA rules, the nameplates must be removed from the jerseys prior to shipping.
