Ohio Head Coach Tim O'Shea
"Hard to imagine a worst first half. I've got to watch the tape, but it looks like we had some shots. We were just completely inept in putting the ball in the basket in the first half, and it really set the tone in the second half."
"Shooting can be contagious. When you're making shots, everybody's making shots. And the same goes with missing. We just couldn't find anybody to knock some shots down."
Miami Junior Forward Michael Bramos
On Ohio's Defense: "They lost me a couple of times in the first couple minutes of the game. We had good ball rotation. I just got open shots. I was trying to move well without the ball and find some open space."
On Miami's Large Lead Early: "I really don't think you can relax in a game like this. You've got to keep going and keep increasing the lead and not lose the momentum in the second half."
"It allowed the team to get some rest and allowed a couple of guys to battle through some injuries. Our coaches did a great job preparing us and we were ready to come out with a lot of urgency tonight." Michael Bramos of five days rest.
Miami Senior Forward Tim Pollitz
"We had a game plan and we followed it. A lot of times we'll have a game plan but we don't always follow through with what we are trying to do. Tonight we did and we've got to do that more often."
On The Crowd: "We are thankful for the crowd to be there and support us, that always helps out."
Miami Associate Head Coach Jermaine Henderson
"It was a big day for Miami. A lot of alumni were back...it was a good day for our program. I can't say enough about what our players did. They played hard and together from start to finish and that was good to see."
"Our guys just executed everything. There was a lot of hustle. We got a lot of loose ball and rebounds, which we hadn't been doing earlier."
