Alain Chevrier Online Jersey Auction Starts Today

OXFORD, Ohio - As part of the celebration of the final season in Goggin Ice Arena, the second of seven Miami Legends Jerseys goes up for auction this week. Alain Chevrier, a goaltender for the Red and White from 1980-84, is the second featured Miami legend. The auction is being hosted by Ebay, and runs from Dec. 5-Dec. 11.
Chevrier played spent seven seasons in the National Hockey League, beginning his career in 1985 with the New Jersey Devils and finishing it in 1991 with the Detroit Red Wings. His best season came in 1986-87 when he won 24 games. He earned four varsity letters for the Red and White and won 32 games in a Miami uniform.
