OXFORD, Ohio (AP) - Calvin Cage had 22 points and Turner Battle scored 13 of his 18 points in the first half for Buffalo, which built an 18-point first half lead and went on to beat Miami University 87-73 on Saturday.

Cage hit 7-of-11 shots, including 4-of-6 3-point attempts for the Bulls, who shot 57 percent from the field and hit 58 percent of their 3-point attempts.

The Bulls (14-11, 9-7 Mid-American Conference) outscored the RedHawks (15-10, 10-6) 46-28 in the first half.

Battle hit 4-of-7 shots from the field in the first half. He made all three 3-point attempts for Buffalo, which hit 7-of-11 from behind the arc in the first half.

Miami made just 35 percent of its shots from the field (9-of-26) in the first half.

The Bulls scored 30 points off 15 Miami turnovers to just six for Miami off nine Buffalo turnovers.

Juby Johnson led Miami with 27 points. Danny Horace scored 15 for the RedHawks and Monty St. Clair added 12.

Mark Bortz scored 14 points for Buffalo and Yassin Idbihi added 10.
