DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Danny Horace scored 27 points, including 13 in overtime, to lead Miami to a 59-54 victory over Wright State on Wednesday night.

The first of two 3-pointers for Horace with 7:46 left in the game put Miami (5-1) ahead 37-36, but a 3-pointer by Jaron Taylor helped Wright State to a 4-point lead with 6:07 remaining. Miami rallied with help from a 3-pointer by Monty St. Clair and a layup by Nathan Peavy with 1:35 left to play to tie the game at 42-42.

Horace made his second 3-pointer to put Miami ahead 45-43 with 3:54 left in overtime. He added eight free throws and a tip-in to help Miami clinch the game.

Chet Mason added 17 points for Miami.

Drew Burleson led scoring for Wright State with 14 points, and DaShaun Wood added 13.
