BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Ignited by Jennifer Eaton's third triple-double of the season, Miami University's volleyball team upended Bowling Green (11-5, 4-4 Mid-American Conference) in four games, 22-30, 30-26, 30-21, 37-35, to extend its conference winning streak to four. The RedHawks improve to 9-7 overall and 6-3 in MAC.
Eaton notched 14 kills, 14 digs and 10 blocks to pace the RedHawks. This is also the third time this season she has amassed 10 or more blocks. Kelly McCullough produced 17 kills, 11 digs and four blocks, while Lee Ann Karr added 15 kills, eight digs and four blocks. Erika Eagan recorded a match-best 21 kills, and Susan Poll added 11 kills and three blocks. Also for the RedHawk, Amy Doran launched two service aces, one to give Miami its 36th point in the fourth game. Summer Clouse amassed 54 assists and nine digs.
The league's top blocking team continued its dominance at the nets, as Miami posted a 15 to 7 advantage in blocks.
The RedHawks return to action on Saturday at Kent State at 7 p.m. Miami tries to extend its league win streak to five.
