Seamus Curtin-Orsmond enters his second season as the Director of Volleyball Operations after joining the Miami Volleyball program in 2019. He came to the RedHawks from American University, where he served as a student assistant the previous three years.
Curtin-Orsmond’s specialty comes in statistics and data collection. For American he used the DataVolley software to compile the Eagles’ stats both in games and practice. He was responsible for interpreting that data, as well as help prepare fill and notes for the team’s upcoming opponents. During that period Curtin-Orsmond also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Metro Volleyball Club in 2017, assisting the 17s travel team.
“Seamus brings a great deal of knowledge and experience in DataVolley, and his work with American University's volleyball program as an undergraduate has prepared him well for the many tasks and responsibilities which coincide with a Director of Operations position,” said Condit. “Seamus is very accommodating, motivated, and has a wonderful sense of humor which is essential in daily operations. We are very pleased to welcome him to our RedHawk program!”

Curtin-Orsmond earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American in 2019.
