Lindsay Puckett completed her second season as a member of the Miami women's basketball staff in 2020-21 after joining the staff in May 2019.
In 2019-20, the RedHawks finished with an 11-20 overall record and a 4-14 conference record as they were fifth in the MAC East. The Red and White picked up a power-five win with an 80-71 decision at Pittsburgh on Dec. 17.
Three Miami players received all-conference honors following the conclusion of the regular season as Lauren Dickerson was named All-MAC Second Team, Savannah Kluesner was named All-MAC Third Team and Peyton Scott was named MAC All-Freshman Team. Dickerson became Miami’s all-time leading scorer in addition to breaking five other Miami career records and one single-season record. Kluesner broke the program record for single-season double-doubles (14) and Miami’s single-game block record (7).
 "As a High Point University grad, Lindsay and I have been in the trenches together before and I look forward to doing it all again," said Hendrix. "Lindsay has always been a true competitor and is hungry for growth. She exemplifies what we will stand for in our program and will be a great sounding board for our team. I'm excited to have her on this journey."
Puckett comes to Oxford from Florida where she worked as a behavioral specialist at Heritage Trails Community School in addition to serving as a women's basketball official for the Florida Basketball Officials Association and the Florida High School Athletic Association.
Prior to her work in Florida, Puckett traveled the country as the Traveling and Merchandise Coordinator for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a nonprofit honoring military and first responders.
Puckett served as the JV Head Coach and was an assistant coach for the varsity team at Leon High School during the 2016-17 season, organizing practice plans and teaching skills and fundamentals.
During the 2015-16 season, Puckett was the director of operations for the women's basketball program at the University of North Carolina Asheville. She coordinated travel, nutrition plans, scouting and video.
Puckett is a 2015 graduate of High Point University, where she played four years under the direction of Hendrix and earned a bachelor's degree in human relations. Puckett is 14th among High Point's scoring leaders since it became a Division I college as she accumulated 856 career points. She is tied for third in Division I games played in HPU history. Puckett remains one of the best three-point shooters in High Point's history, ranking fourth in three-pointers made (144) and third in three-pointers attempted (474).
