CCHA Defenseman of the Week (Feb. 21-28)...Saw action in all 39 contests of the season...led the team in blocked shots for the fourth straight season with 72, tying his career best...tallied nine points (two goals, seven assists)...dished out two assists against New Hampshire (Oct. 8) and Western Michigan (Feb. 12), tying a career high...finished with a +20 rating, including a +10 in his last six games...his career +/- rating is now +67, most among active RedHawks...scored a shorthanded goal on a breakaway against Alaska on March 12...fired 34 shots on the season...was whistled for 14 penalties totaling 28 minutes.

2009-10
Played in 40 of Miami[apos]s first 41 games, but missed all three NCAA Tournament games with an illness... led the team with 72 blocked shots, nearly double any other RedHawk... was third on the team with a +20 rating... totaled 11 points (3g, 8a) on the season, including eight in his last 11 games... had a career-high two assists Jan. 15 against Ferris State, also setting a career high in points with two... had two other two-point games (a goal and an assist), Feb. 6 against Lake Superior State and Feb. 26 against Ohio State... scored all three of his goals this season in his last 11 games, including his first career short-handed goal March 13 vs. Ohio State and his first power-play goal Feb. 6 vs. Lake Superior State.

2008-09
Played in 36 games for the RedHawks... tallied eight points on a goal and seven assists... scored his first career and first game-winning goal on Feb. 13 against Lake Superior State ... had a single assist in seven contests, including one in the West Regional semifinal win against Denver (March 27)... took 20 penalties for 40 minutes... finished the season with a plus-eight rating.

2007-08
The only freshmen defensemen to play in all 42 games... passed out eight assists to post an eight-point rookie season... received 10 penalties and 20 penalty minutes... posted a +18 mark in his freshman campaign, including +11 during CCHA play... handed out six assists during conference play.

Prior to Miami
Played the 2006-07 season with the Waterloo of the United States Hockey League (USHL)... ranked third on the team in defenseman scoring with four goals, including one game-winner, and tallied 17 assists in 46 regular-season games... helped the Black Hawks to a 39-17-4 record and a USHL East Division title... paced his team with +23 rating... ranked third on the squad with 96 penalty minutes... notched a goal and two assists in nine USHL playoff games... recorded five goals, including one game-winner, and chipped in six helpers in 53 regular-season games during the 2005-06 slate... skated for the Chicago Young American team in the Midwest Elite AAA Hockey League (MWEHL) prior to Waterloo... a member of the 2006 USA U-18 team with teammate Matt Tomassoni.
