Played his youth hockey with current RedHawk defenseman Grant Hutton on the Indiana Jr. Ice, where he enjoyed a stellar 2012-13 season with a 2.15 goals against average and .922 save percentage in the regular season before improving those to a 2.00 goals against average and .919 save percentage in the playoffs and being named playoff MVP à - ¢Ã¢' - ¬ - ¦ was named a Second-Team NAPHL All-Star in that 2012-13 campaign and was a member of back-to-back NAPHL titles with the Ice à - ¢Ã¢' - ¬ - ¦ enjoyed a solid 2015-16 campaign with the Minnesota Wilderness, posting a 19-8-6 record with a 2.22 goals against average and .912 save percentage à - ¢Ã¢' - ¬ - ¦ played baseball as a freshman at Naperville North High School.
