HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Eric Moore, the big tight end earned all-conference, all-south and all-county honors as a senior ... career-wise, he had 33 receptions for 515 yards and scored five touchdowns ... he was a key blocker in the Trojans' Wing-T attack ... Center Grove was Indiana's 5A state champion in 2008, rallying from three TDs down in the last six minutes (14-1 record) ... regional champs in 2009 (11-4) ... also lettered in basketball ... he had a 4.1 grade-point average in high school and ranked ninth in his class ... an academic all-state selection and a four-time academic all-conference honoree ... he had a perfect score in his ACT math section.
