High School: Attended La Costa Canyon High School … three-year letter winner in field hockey … named her team’s most valuable offensive player as a freshman, scored six goals as a sophomore, and scored 12 goals and was given the CIF Sportsmanship Award as a junior … named team captain and led her team to a league championship as a senior … two-year member of the National Honor Society … one-year letter winner in lacrosse.
Personal: Daughter of Doug and Hollis Peterson … mother Hollis graduated from Miami in 1991 and played for the field hockey team from 1987-1988 … has one younger brother, Josh … majoring in biology and premedical studies.
