Andy Revell

Andy Revell is in his first season as an assistant coach with Miami Baseball. Revell comes to the RedHawks from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., where he served as varsity baseball head coach and hitting coordinator. During his time at IMG, Revell assisted with developing daily offensive programming and implementation of technology. 

Revell has previously served as an assistant coach with Dartmouth (2017-18), Xavier (2014-15) and Gulf Coast State (2013-14), and got his start in coaching as a graduate assistant with West Alabama (2011-13). He won three consecutive league titles as head coach for the Licking County Settlers between 2012 and 2014 and later served as that ballclub’s general manager. Revell has coached a total of 24 drafted players, including the 71st overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft. His 2018 Dartmouth team ranked second in the Ivy League in fielding percentage (.981). Revell owns a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Health Promotion from Montevallo and a Master’s degree in Physical Education from West Alabama.
