2006-07: Indoors, registered season-best distance in the long jump (16-6 1/2) at the Bowling Green Invitational and triple jump (39-3) at the All-Ohio Championships ... ran the 60 meters at the Rod McCravy Invitational, turning in a time of 8.62 ... finished fourth in the triple jump (39-1) at the MAC Indoor Championships ... outdoors, sailed to season-best distances in the triple jump (38-10 1/4) and long jump (17-1 1/4) at the Southern Ohio Cup ... won the triple jump at the All-Ohio Championships. 2005-06: During the indoor season, notched three wins in the triple jump at the Findlay Open, Bowling Green Invitational and Eastern Illinois Invitational ... turned in top distance of the indoor season (39-11 1/2) at the Ball State Triangular, which ranks as the fourth-best distance in program history ... at the MAC Indoor Championships, placed fifth in the triple jump ... also competed in the long jump and 60 meters, posting top long jump distance (17-7 3/4) at the Ball State Triangular ... outdoors, tallied one win in the triple jump at the Southern Ohio Cup ... scored at the MAC Outdoor Championships with a seventh-place finish in the triple jump ... top meet during the season was the Southern Ohio Cup where she posted season-best performances in the long jump (17-8 3/4), triple jump (39-9 1/4) and javelin (92-8). Prior to Miami: Was the 2005 NCAA Division III Champion in the triple jump with a distance of 41-1 3/4 ... also qualified for the national meet in the long jump, where she hit 18-3 ... named the 2005 NCAA Great Lakes Region Division III Athlete of the Year ... finished as the NCAA indoor runner-up in the triple jump both her freshman and sophomore years, jumping 39[apos] 9 1/4' as a sophomore ... outstanding in the classroom as well, named to the Ohio Athletic Conference Academic Team with a 3.65 GPA in accounting. Coach[apos]s Comment: 'Doreen brings not only talent but proven success into our program. Winning the NCAA Championship in any division is difficult and we are pleased that she decided to join our program. She is very versatile and I think she can improve greatly in the long jump. We are planning on Doreen teaming up with Lashonda Davis to form a strong tandem in the horizontal jumps.'
