MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Miami University soccer team played to a double shutout against MAC foe Central Michigan Sunday, leaving Mount Pleasant with 1 point after a 0-0 draw. Led by Millie Cook, the RedHawks took 13 shots, five of which came from Cook. On the defensive end, four critical saves from Dominique Popa in goal kept the game scoreless. The RedHawks move to 5-5-3 (1-1-3) MAC with the result. CMU is now 2-7-3 (0-3-2) MAC.

- The RedHawk offense came out blazing early, recording shots in the seventh and eighth minutes by Katie O'Malley and Coltie Carson, respectively.
- A promising Miami possession in the 40th minute ended in a Lily Berhalter shot saved by CMU.
- Popa made a clutch save in the bottom right corner during the 44th minute, keeping the game tied 0-0 going into the half.
- After the RedHawks fired off seven shots in the first 40 minutes of the second half, an 88th-minute free kick from Kayla Perfect was just barely tapped over the goal by the CMU goalkeeper.
- A corner kick in the 88th minute turned into another shot on goal from Cook, but she couldn't capitalize.
- Berhalter set career highs in minutes (7), shots (2), and shots on goal (1).
- Popa had her second straight shutout in goal.
- Cook tied her career high with five shots.
- Jaden Sink played all 90 minutes, continuing her streak of playing every regular-season minute.
