2016-17: Dove in nine meets for both the one- and three-meter dives ... won the one-meter dive against Wright State (325.80), Cincinnati (305.40), Buffalo (319.65) and Ball State (304.87) ... took second in the event against Eastern Michigan (354.68) ... placed second in the three-meter dive against Wright State (304.05), Xavier (225.49) and Ball State (316.42) ... at the MAC Championships he placed seventh in the one meter (277.00) and 14th in the three meter (259.00)
2015-2016: Took first in the one-meter competition vs. Cincinnati (341.55), fourth vs. Purdue (288.37), sixth vs. Eastern Michigan (293.10) and placed 10th in the same event at MACs (310.80) ... claimed first in three-meter action vs. Eastern Michigan (305.25), fifth vs. Cincinnati (3043.20), sixth vs. Purdue, ninth vs. Buffalo (295.20) and tenth vs. OSU (256.20) ... tallied a total of 297.85 points at MACs, earning 14th-place respectively.
2014-2015: Academic All-MAC ... earned MAC Male Diver of the week honors (2/10) ... won the one-meter competition against Ball State (325.27) ... claimed 11th at the MAC Championships (297.10) and fifth at the Miami Invitational in the same event ... finished second in the three-meter against Ball State (347.77) ... earned tenth place at MAC Championships (312.85) in the same event ... turned in fourth-place finish against Cleveland State, eighth place against Buffalo, and sixth at the Miami Invitational also in the three-meter ... made his zone cuts in both events.
2013-2014: Sargent began his Miami career with a fourth-place finish in the one-meter diving event and three-meter diving event against Cleveland State. Sargent earned an eighth-place finish in the one-meter diving event against Purdue. He took sixth in the three-meter dive against the Boilermakers. Against Cincinnati and Evansville, Sargent earned second-place finishes in the one-meter dive. He placed sixth in the three-meter diving event and seventh in the one-meter dive against Buffalo. Against Eastern Michigan, Sargent placed sixth in the one-meter dive and seventh in the three-meter dive. He finished second in the one-meter diving event against Ball State. At the MAC Championships, Sargent was 14th in the one-meter dive and 15th in the three-meter dive. He went on to compete at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships placing 35th in the three-meter diving event and 27th in the one-meter diving event.
High School: Swam for Lori Rapp at William Mason High School ... earned four letters there as a diver and was team captain during his senior year ... holds his high school 6 dive and 11 dive records (330 and 514 points, respectively ... competed on teams at the Ohio State Championship level, finishing 17th in 2010, eighth in 2011, sixth in 2012 and third in 2013 ... was a four-time Greater Miami Conference Champion, four-time Greater Miami Conference Athlete of the Year, three-time District Champion, four-time Sectional Champion, and Southwest Coaches Classic Champion in 2010, 2012 and 2013 ... a National Merit Finalist Commended, AP Scholar, Principal list for four-years and graduated in the top 10% of his class with a 4.6 GPA.
Personal: Son of Gregory and Annette Sargent; born April 20, 1994. His older brother, Scott, was a diver at the University of Louisville and his mother, Annette, was a member of the Arizona State University Track and Field team. Nash was a competitor in USA Trampoline and Tumbling for 12 years and was a member of the Jr. USA National team in 2010 and 2011. He competed at the World Age Group Championships in 2010 - in Metz, France and in 2011 in Birmingham, England. Sean is majoring in Mechanical Engineering & EGR: Manufacturing Engineering.
