Bric Baird Wins MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND-- The Mid-American Conference announced that Miami University sophomore Bric Baird was named the conference's Golfer of the Week for the first week of the season.

Baird (65-68-72=205) led the RedHawks to a runner-up finish at the Virtues Intercollegiate Aug. 29-30, going 11-under-par through his three rounds and finishing second overall in the tournament. Baird notched a total of 18 birdies on his scorecard and shot a 65, 68, and 72 in his three respective rounds, marking his best collegiate performance to date.
