Miami Golf Carrying Momentum into MAC Final Round

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – The Miami University golf team competed in the second round of the MAC Championship today at the Club at Holliday Farms. The RedHawks ended day two still firmly in second place, just one stroke behind Eastern Michigan heading into the final round. All five RedHawk golfers are within the top 16 individuals on the leaderboard.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Michael Weber (80-67=147) fired off an impressive score of four under par in his second round today. He started the day hot with a birdie on the first hole and knocked down four more throughout his round. Weber moved up 27 places on the leaderboard and sits in ninth place heading into the final round tomorrow.
Tyler Anderson (75-71=146) shot even par in his second round today, with no bogeys through the first 12 holes. He had two birdies and moved up seven places on the leaderboard, heading into the final round tied for fifth.
Cameron Pero (76-75=151) shot four over par in his second round today. He rose three spots on the leaderboard and will tee off for the final round tomorrow tied for 16th.
Liam Nelson (70-76=146) shot five over par in his second round. He heads to the final round tied for fifth place with Anderson.
Brett Podobinski (75-76=151) shot five over par in his second round. Podobinski had four birdies on the day and enters the final round tied for 16th with Pero.
