Hallie throws 10th-best discus in RedHawks history

CINCINNATI, Ohio-- The RedHawks traveled to nearby Cincinnati this week to compete in the Oliver Nikoloff Invite at the University of Cincinnati. Maggie Dougherty threw the seventh-best all-time mark for a RedHawk in javelin. Kate Hallie's mark of 51.43m is the 10th-best in program history. Blake Presley threw the eighth-best mark of 57.38m in program history in hammer throw. Dominic Jackson ran the eighth-best time in program history in the 800 of 1:49.97.

- Matthew Howard and Clark Helgason swept first and second place in javelin, throwing 57.28m and 56.58m. CJ Johnson Jr. threw 44.13m for fifth.
- Dougherty won the women's javelin with a throw of 42.26m, which is the seventh-best mark in program history. Allie Melchiorre took fourth place with a throw of 37.10 and Hallie took 10th with a throw of 21.65m.
- In men's hammer, Presley (57.38), Ben Riegel (57.02) and Gabe Asbury (55.29) took sixth, seventh, and eighth. Owen Billeter (49.52) and Reilly Worthington (48.91) took 13th and 14th. Presley's mark is the eighth-best for a RedHawk ever.
- Hallie took fourth in hammer with a throw of 51.43m, which is the 10th-best mark in RedHawk history. Kristen Berwanger threw 40.79m and Sophia Ili threw 38.05m
- Worthington and Billeter took 11th and 12th in discus with throws of 43.72m and 42.93m. David Lorek posted a mark of 36.79m.
- Quinn Kroneker took seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 4.38m.
- In long jump, Kirk Knecht finished with a mark of 6.46m for 11th place.
- Kylie Adams took fifth in long jump with a jump of 5.55m and Maya Reed took 15th with a jump of 5.12m.
- Hallie threw 47.42m for second place in discus. Caroline Kagy threw 38.83m and Kristen Berwanger threw 38.67.
- Riegel took second place in shot put with a throw of 17.28m. Worthington and Presley took fifth and sixth with throws of 16.35m and 15.97, respectively. Lorek took ninth with a throw of 15.23m.
- Ella Garvin took fourth in high jump with a mark of 1.75m.
- In women's shot put, Hallie (14.35) was third, Ili (13.07) was ninth, Ava Luczak (11.58) was 18th, Kagy (10.97) was 23rd and Sara Cupp (10.51) was 24th.
- In pole vault, Emily Eterovich placed sixth with a mark of 3.86m. Mia Boule and Addison Crichley tied for fourth place with a mark of 3.71m.
- The women's 4x100m team of Lauren Jessup-Aiken, Riley Betz, Maya Reed and Camryn Dunn placed fourth with a time of 47.17.
- In the 1500m, Avery Emerson ran 4:29.71 and Monica Guijarro ran 4:33.26, taking third and fourth, respectively. Eve Traficanti took sixth, finishing in 4:35.38. Linda Conchetto ran a 4:48.66 and Grace Streek ran a 4:49.01 for 17th and 18th, respectively.
- Tom Heal took second in the 1500, finishing in 3:47.85. Luke Mussard took fifth with a time of 3:50.37, Josh Razor took 11th with a time of 3:54.08, Ben Fahnestock took 12th with a time of 3:54.95 and Nick Dunn took 25th with a time of 4:02.71.
- In the 100m dash, Betz finished in third with a time of 11.95, Dunn finished in fifth with 11.97, Jessup-Aiken finished in eighth with 12.07 and Katelyn Pratt finished in 21st with 12.81.
- Matthew Shuler took third in the 100 with a time of 10.65 and Mitchell Wiemuth took 14th with a time of 11.17.
- Keena Sanders placed seventh in the 400 with a time of 57.83, Olivia Cebalo placed 13th with a time of 59.87 and Sophia Scavuzzo placed 14th with a time of 1:00.51.
- In the men's 400, Joey Valeski took fifth place with a run of 47.66 seconds and Schuler took 20th with a run of 50.32 seconds.
- Broderick Brittle took fifth in the 110 hurdles with a run of 14.86 seconds, Jaxon Tober took 10th with a run of 15.58 seconds and Josh Mikulka took 12th with a run of 15.80 seconds.
- In the 100 hurdles, Madison Berger (15.40), Ella Garvin (15.44) and Kylie Adams (16.66) took 11th, 12th, and 17th places, respectively.
- Jackson took second in the 800m run with a time of 1:49.57 and Adrian Stechschulte took fifth with a time of 1:53.12. Jackson's time is the eighth-fastest all-time for a RedHawk.
- In the women's 400 hurdles, Mae Reed took fifth, finishing in 1:05.23, Madison Berger was ninth, finishing in 1:05.47 and Sydney Harmon was 11th, finishing in 1:13.26.
- On the men's side of the 400 hurdles, Tober ran a 56.63 and placed eighth, Mikulka ran a 56.66 and placed ninth and Brittle ran a 1:05.96 and placed 14th.
- Jessup-Aiken and Dunn took 10th and 11th in the 200 running 25.06 and 25.08, respectively. Pratt finished the race in 26.64.
- In the men's 200m, R'Monee Brown and Wiemuth took 16th and 17th with times of 23.02 and 23.08, respectively.
- Ava Nuttall won the 5K with a time of 17:11.19.
- In the men's 5K, Weston Naville finished 13th with a time of 15:08.81 and Taman Chokshi finished 23rd with a time of 15:31.19.
- In the women's 4x400, the RedHawks finished third with a time of 3:56.85.
- The RedHawk men placed fourth with a time of 3:20.94 in the 4x400 relay.
