Miami Men’s Basketball Announces the Addition of Rich Rolf

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University head men's basketball coach Travis Steele has announced that Rich Rolf will join his program and compete for the RedHawks in the 2026-27 season. Rolf makes his way to Oxford after spending three seasons with Charlotte and most recently playing one season for Youngstown State.

PRIOR TO MIAMI:
- Competed in 31 games and made 30 starts during his redshirt junior season with Youngstown State, where he averaged 9.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks
- Scored a career-high 22 points vs. Georgia Southern on Nov. 24, 2025
- Totaled a career-best 10 rebounds on four separate occasions
- He appeared in 30 games and made seven starts, as he averaged 17.2 minutes per game in 2024-25
- Appeared in three games before suffering a season-ending injury in 2023-24
- Redshirted in his first year at Charlotte during the 2022-23 season
- Attended Centerville High School where he averaged 17.5 points per game as a senior to help the Elks to two consecutive Ohio state championship games, winning the title in 2022
