Ricciardi Named Mid-Major Pitcher of the Week

D1Softball.com – For the first time in her career, Angelina Ricciardi was named Mid-Major Pitcher of the Week by D1Softball.com.
Ricciardi posted a 0.93 earned-run average and collected three wins over three appearances this past weekend, helping the RedHawks continue their 13-game win streak. She added one complete game and allowed just two runs and nine hits over those three appearances.The junior collected five total strikeouts and held the opposition to .256 batting average.
She opened the week, allowing two runs, while throwing a complete game in a win over EKU. She then threw 3.2 scoreless innings against NKU and another 4.1 scoreless versus IU-Indy.
Miami hosts Western Michigan on Friday, March 13 at 1 p.m.
