Ricciardi Named MAC Pitcher of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – In her first career action as a member of the Miami University softball team, Angelina Ricciardi earned Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week.
Ricciardi went 3-0 with a 1.08 ERA in her first action with the RedHawks. She struck out six batters in 13.0 innings pitched and held the opposition to a .188 batting average. She opened the week with a 7.0 inning complete game win over Minnesota and followed it up with a win over San Diego State University, allowing no runs over 5.0 innings of action. She wrapped up the west-coast trip by throwing one inning in a victory over Loyola Chicago.
Riccardi and the RedHawks return to action on Friday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. versus Evansville in Memphis, Tenn.
