PLYMOUTH, Mich.— The Miami University collegiate synchronized skating team took first place at the Midwestern Synchronized Skating Championship in Plymouth, Mich.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The RedHawks ended with a score of 113.25, placing first overall in a field of eight teams.
- The Red and White posted an executed element score of 58.88 and a program component score of 54.37 with no point deductions.
- Miami's closest competitors were the Northernettes in second place (99.98) and Western Michigan University in third (99.82).
UP NEXT
- The Miami collegiate team will compete in the Tri-State Competition in Dearborn, Mich., on Saturday, February 7.
