GDANSK, Poland—The Miami University senior synchronized skating team finished its second-straight competition in Europe this weekend, taking fifth place in a five-team field at the Hevelius Cup.

- On Friday afternoon, the senior team performed its short program with an overall score of 46.64.
- The RedHawks' performance earned them an element score of 25.55 and a program component score of 26.09.
- After the first day of competition, Miami sat in fifth place in the standings.
- The Red and White followed up Saturday with a free skate that earned them 129.48 points, with a program component score of 64.59 and a technical element score of 65.89.
- With both performances combined, Miami finished with 176.12 points overall, securing fifth place as Team Unique (FIN) claimed the top spot with 215.60 points.

- The Miami collegiate team will compete in the Midwestern Championship in Plymouth, Mich., next weekend (Saturday, January 24).
