Katskee Named to ABCA/Rawlings All-America Third-Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has released its 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-America Teams today, with Miami pithcer Cooper Katskee earning All-America Third Team recognition. Katskee is the first RedHawk to be named an All-American since Jonathan Brand in 2022.

Katskee, a native of Greenwood Village, Colo., made 10 starts and 16 total appearances for the RedHawks during the 2025 season. The redshirt sophomore finished the season tied for the fourth-most wins across Division I baseball with an 11-2 record. Katskee pitched in 84.2 innings and recorded a 3.08 ERA. He led the charge against opponents in the batter's box this season, holding them to a .196 batting average and adding 70 strikeouts en route to winning MAC Pitcher of the Year.

First recognized in 1949, the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I All-America teams are selected by the ABCA All-America & Coach of the Year committee, which is chaired by Brian Green of Wichita State University. The committee also includes Mitch Canham (Oregon State University), Chris Curry (University of Arkansas at Little Rock), Dean Ehehalt (Monmouth University), Jeff Mercer (Indiana University), Brian O'Connor (Mississippi State University), Jim Penders (University of Connecticut), and Butch Thompson (Auburn University).

The ABCA All-America teams now include nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.
