
Box Announces Six New Additions to Roster; 2025-26 Roster Complete

OXFORD, Ohio – Glenn Box, Miami University's women's basketball head coach, has announced the addition of six new student-athletes for the 2025-26 season. Amber Scalia (St. Thomas), Clara Gonzalez Planella (Jacksonville State), Macie Taylor (Wright State), Ashton Elley (UAB) and Brooke Blumenfeld (Northern Illinois) will transfer to Miami, while Anna Hurst will also join the team for the 2025-26 campaign.

These six additions will join five returnees (Tamar Singer, Amber Tretter, Núria Jurjo, Ilse de Vries and Emily Van Timmeren) and one signee from back in November (Mio Sakano -- READ MORE) to form the 2025-26 RedHawks' roster.

- Scored 1,091 points and shot 34% from behind the arc throughout her career
- Two-time Summit League All-Conference Honorable Mention honoree
- Averaged 14.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 2024-25
- Scored in double figures 23 times and scored 20+ eight times
- Scored a season-high 26 points at North Dakota
- Averaged 16.8 points per game in 2023-24
- Scored 30 points in back-to-back games back in Jan., 2024

- Shot 50% from long range throughout her high school career

- Averaged 8.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in 21.7 minutes of action
- Scored in double figures 11 times during the 2024-25 campaign
- Shot 35.6% from long range as a junior
- Knocked in a career-high five triples at Middle Tennessee State on Feb. 6, 2025
- Made at least three triples nine different times
Cochise College:
- Played two years of junior college for the Apache in Arizona
- Helped the Apache to two national tournament appearances as a freshman and sophomore
- Team went 28-6 overall and 19-3 in their conference in 2022-23 as a freshman
- Helped team to a 26-8 record and 18-5 conference mark and win the Region 1 championship as a sophomore
- Scored 9.4 points per game on 39.4% from the field as a sophomore
- Â Was ACCAC Region 1 second team
High School:
- Attended UEM-Femeni Marasme
- School competed in the highest level of Spanish amateur basketball

- Scored a career-high 24 points versus Findlay on Nov. 26, 2024
- Shot 33% from long range this past season and made multiple triples in a game seven different times
High School:
- Scored over 1,000 points in her high school career
- Holds school record for scoring average
- Averaged 18.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game as a senior
