Women’s Basketball Signs Two to Letter of Intent

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami head women's basketball coach Glenn Box has announced the signing of Laia Jové and Brooke Zartman to his recruiting class. Both players will join the RedHawks in 2026-27.
Laia Jové, 5-7, Guard, Barcelona, Spain (Escola Vedruna Gràcia)
Box on Jové Fusté: "Laia is a guard who brings us versatility. She can run the team or make plays off the bounce."
Brooke Zartman, 5-8, Guard, Warsaw, Indiana (Warsaw Community)
Box on Zartman: "Brooke is an elite shooter! She has a special skill set that will translate great to our program."
Laia Jové, 5-7, Guard, Barcelona, Spain (Escola Vedruna Gràcia)
- Coached by Marta Santiago
- Two-time team captain
- Helped lead team to a Catalonia Championship in 2023
- Averaged 7.0 points/game as a senior

Brooke Zartman, 5-8, Guard, Warsaw, Indiana (Warsaw Community)
- Currently attends Warsaw Community High School
- Team captain
- Owns school record for three-pointers in a career
- Set the school record for three-pointers in a game with eight
- Averaged 17.8 points and 2.8 steals per game as a junior
- Shot 46% from behind the arc and 90% from the free throw line in 2024-25
- Played in the Indiana Jr. All-Star Game
- Earned All-State honors as a junior
