RedHawks Bound For Knoxville Regional

OXFORD, Ohio – On Sunday night, the NCAA released the bracket for the 2025 Division I Softball Tournament. The RedHawks (35-24, 20-7 MAC) were selected as the No. 4 seed for the Knoxville Regional. They will play host Tennessee, the overall No. 7 seed in the tournament, at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16 on SEC Network.

Miami claimed its sixth-consecutive regular season MAC Championship this year (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025) and took its fourth-straight MAC Tournament Championship (2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025) Saturday. 2025 marks Miami's ninth appearance overall in the national tournament and fifth in a row.
MAC Co-Coach of the Year Mandy Gardner-Colegate led the RedHawks this season in her first year as head coach. This year the RedHawks had two All-MAC First Team selections, Chloe Parks and Madilyn Reeves, and two All-MAC Second Team selections, Mckenna Campbell and Shelby Kunkel. Parks also earned the Nan Harvey award and MAC Tournament MVP. Parks was joined on the MAC Tournament team by Léa Chevrier and Kaylee Oh.
