
Miami Moves Ahead in Day Two of Calusa Cup

NAPLES, Fla.— The RedHawks advanced to eighth place after the second round of the Calusa Cup, finishing day two with a score of 602, three strokes ahead of Virginia. Brett Podobinski leads the Red and White in seventh place overall, three places ahead of the previous day.

- Podobinski (73-71=144) finished his second round with a score of 71, or one below par.
- Cameron Pero (76-74=150) jumped up two places to tie for 24th.
- Michael Weber (80-75=155) is tied for 35th.
- Morgan Blythe (76-80=156) is tied for 38th.
- Sam West (80-77=157) ends the day tied for 42nd.
- Sam Mortell (68), Liam Nelson (70), Tyler Anderson (70) and Matthew Mattioli (75) also competed as individuals in the first round of the Jewell Invitational in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
