GROVE CITY, Ohio— The Miami RedHawks are tied for sixth with Bowling Green after the first round of the MAC Men's Golf Championships. The Red and White shot nine above par as a team, or 297.

- Matthew Mattioli (73) leads the RedHawks and is tied for 13th place with a score of one above par. He shot a birdie on the 18th hole, totaling two in his round.
- Brett Podobinski (74) and Morgan Blythe (74) are tied for 19th with a score of two above par.
- Michael Weber (76) shot four above par, with three birdies on the day (including back-to-back birdies on the seventh and eighth holes).
- Cameron Pero (78) shot three birdies to tie for 37th, shooting six over par.
