SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.— The Miami University golf team finished 8th out of 17 teams at this weekend's Desert Mountain Intercollegiate. The RedHawks came in two strokes behind Michigan and three shots ahead of VCU. Brett Podobinski led the Red and White with a score of two under par, or 214, to tie for eighth on the individual leaderboard.

- Brett Podobinski (69-73-72=214) scored five birdies in his last round, totaling 13.
- Morgan Blythe (71-74-72=217) tied for 20th place and shot three birdies in his final round.
- Sam West (72-76-74=222) ended the tournament six above par.
- Tyler Anderson (78-75-73=226) competed as an individual. He birdied four holes in his last round.
- Michael Weber (79-76-73=228) tied for 58th place, moving up 12 spots from the previous round.
- Cameron Pero (78-78-79=235) shot an eagle on the thirteenth hole of round 2.
