NEW YORK— Former Miami University catcher Hayden Senger will be part of the New York Mets' 2025 Opening Day roster, the ballclub announced. Senger, who turns 28 next week, has played more than 400 minor-league games in the Mets' system since the team selected him in the 24th round of the 2018 MLB Draft and will have the opportunity to make his major-league debut.
