GOING STREAKING: Enjulina Gonzalez has scored in double figures 15-straight games, dating back to Dec. 1. She has surpassed 20 points seven different times this season, including a season-high 29 points in a win at FIU. The sophomore transfer from Mercer has been named MAC Player of the Week three times and currently ranks third in the MAC in scoring (17.2). Miami is 6-1 this season when she scores 20-plus points.
DOUBLE TROUBLE: Amber Tretter has recorded 14 double-doubles in her career, including four this year. On the season she nearly averages a double-double in points (10.7) and rebounds (7.9), despite only playing 26.8 minutes per contest. She ranks fifth in the MAC in rebounding and eighth in blocks (0.8).
ABOUT EMU: Eastern Michigan enters Wednesday at 1-19 overall and 0-10 in MAC play. The Eagles rank 10th in the MAC in scoring (60.0 ppg.) and are led by Sisi Eleko (19.1 ppg.) and Mackenzie Amalia (10.3 ppg.). First-year head coach Sahar Nusseibeh was an assistant at Miami from 2019-21.
SERIES HISTORY: This will be the 69th meeting between the two schools, dating back to Feb. 9, 1980. Miami leads the all-time series 43-25 and is 20-11 all-time at home versus the Eagles. These two teams split a pair of contests a year ago, but EMU has won six of the last seven contests.
NOTES FROM WIN OVER OHIO:Â
• Miami downed Ohio 72-34 last Saturday in the largest blowout in 102 meetings between the two programs.

Maya Chandler (17 points) combined to score 40 for the Red and White.

Amber Tretter had a game-high 10 rebounds, while
Ilse de Vries secured a career-best seven boards.
• Miami was 10-of-26 from long distance versus the Bobcats. In the previous two games, the RedHawks were just 5-for-32 combined from behind the arc.
WINNING WITH DEFENSE: Miami ranks atop the conference, allowing 56.4 points per game (34th nationally). The RedHawks have held six opponents to under 50 points this season.
• Miami has forced 438 turnovers this season, second-best in the conference. The RedHawks are 9-3 on the year when they force their opponent into 20-plus turnovers.Â

POINTING TO THE PAINT: Back on Jan. 18, Miami dropped a contest to Buffalo, where the RedHawks attempted a season-high 34 triples (made 9) and recorded just 12 points in the paint. Since that contest, the RedHawks have recorded 132 points in the paint (33.0/game). The Red and White added 28 points down low versus Akron, 34 against Kent State, 36 at Toledo and 34 at home versus OU.
THAT 70'S SHOW: It's not all about defense when it comes to Miami. The RedHawks are a perfect 8-0 this year when they score 70-plus points in a contest. Much of that scoring has come in the first and third quarters. Miami has outscored their opponents 328-251 in the first quarter and 349-293 to begin the second half.

CHASING RECORDS: Miami has already surpassed last season's win total (9-20 last year) and at 5-5 in MAC play, the RedHawks are closing in on last year's conference win total (6-12 a year ago).
BOMBS AWAY: Miami ranks third in the MAC in three pointers made per game (7.4) and are third in percentage made from behind the arc (34.2%).
Enjulina Gonzalez (44.0%) ranks second in the MAC and 11 different RedHawks shoot at least 30% from long distance.Â
1,000 POINT CLUB: Maya Chandler has scored 1,221 career points between three different programs. She has scored 195 points with the RedHawks, had 149 points in one season at SMU and in three years at Loyola-Chicago she scored 877 points and was named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year in 2020-21. She has played in 137 games throughout her career, making 117 starts.

Tamar Singer is playing nearly 28 minutes a contest, third best on the team. She ranks eighth in the MAC in assists (4.1), 11th in assist/turnover ratio (1.1) and fifth in steals (2.2). She has scored in double-figures four times this year and has posted at least five assists nine different times.
