RedHawks Finish First Tournament of Spring Season in Sixth Place

LAREDO, Texas—  The Miami University golf team finished sixth out of 16 teams at the Border Olympics to start the spring season. They ended with a final score of 870, or 18-above par. Michael Weber led the team tied with an eighth-place finish, with a score of 214 (+1).

- Weber (70-73-71–214) ended the 18-hole day with three birdies, finishing the tournament with a total of eight birdies.
- Cameron Pero (73-71-71–215) trailed closely behind, ending with a score of 215, or two-above par. He recorded nine birdies throughout the three rounds.Â
- Brett Podobinski (74-73-73–220) advanced four places from the previous day, tying for 27th overall.Â
- Morgan Blythe (73-74-76–223) posted six birdies, one being on the 18th hole of the last round.Â
- Matthew Mattioli (72-82-77–231) totaled seven birdies.Â
