RedHawks Finish Day One of Border Olympics in Fourth

LAREDO, Texas— The Miami University golf team ended day one of the Border Olympics tied for fourth place with Michigan, with an overall score of 579, or 11-above par. The RedHawks are three strokes behind third-place New Mexico State. Michael Weber leads the team in 10th place with a score of 143, or one-above par.

- Weber (70-73–143) is one stroke behind eighth place, ending the two rounds with a total of five birdies.
- Cameron Pero (73-71–144) finished the day with seven birdies for a score of two above par. He scored birdies on the 18th hole of both rounds.
- Brett Podobinski (74-73–147) shot birdies on four holes in the second round, ending the day tied for 31st.
- Morgan Blythe (73-74–147) is also tied for 31st with four birdies.
- Matthew Mattioli (72-82–154) finished the second round with a score of 12 above par.
