ON TAP: The Miami University women's basketball team looks for its fourth-straight win as the RedHawks travel to face Kent State on Saturday, Feb. 15. Opening tip is slated for 1 p.m. Miami hasn't won four-straight games since the 2018-19 season.
GOING STREAKING: Enjulina Gonzalez has scored in double figures 17-straight games, dating back to Dec. 1. She has surpassed 20 points seven different times this season, including a season-high 29 points in a win at FIU. The sophomore transfer from Mercer has been named MAC Player of the Week three times and currently ranks third in the MAC in scoring (17.0). Miami is 6-1 this season when she scores 20-plus points.
DOUBLE TROUBLE: Amber Tretter has recorded 14 double-doubles in her career, including four this year. On the season she nearly averages a double-double in points (10.5) and rebounds (8.0), despite only playing 27.0 minutes per contest. She ranks fifth in the MAC in rebounding and blocks (1.0).
ABOUT KENT STATE: The Golden Flashes are 16-8 overall and are currently the No. 3 seed in the MAC with an 8-3 record. Offensively, they lead the conference in scoring (76.2 ppg.) and are second in rebounding (40.8 rpg.). Jenna Batsch is tops on the team in scoring (16.6 ppg.) and assists (4.1 apg.).
SERIES HISTORY: This will be the 101st meeting between the two schools, with Kent State holding a 52-48 series advantage. The Flashes are 8-2 over the past 10 contest and the RedHawks have not won in Kent, Ohio since Feb. 17, 2018 (W, 65-59).
ROUND TWO WITH THE FLASHES: Saturday will be the second meeting of the year between the two schools. KSU captured a 77-63 victory back on Jan. 25 in Oxford. In the first meeting Miami trailed 21-8 early and could never recover.

POINTING TO THE PAINT: Back on Jan. 18, Miami dropped a contest to Buffalo, where the RedHawks attempted a season-high 34 triples (made 9) and recorded just 12 points in the paint. Since that contest, the RedHawks have recorded 186 points in the paint (31.0/game). Miami has scored at least 28 points in the paint in five of the past six contests.
THAT 70'S SHOW: It's not all about defense when it comes to Miami. The RedHawks are a perfect 8-0 this year when they score 70-plus points in a contest. Much of that scoring has come in the first and third quarters. Miami has outscored their opponents 356-285 in the first quarter and 381-317 to begin the second half.

CHASING RECORDS: Miami has already surpassed last season's win total (9-20 last year) and at 6-5 in MAC play, the RedHawks have matched last season's MAC win total (6-12 last season).

This season the script has flipped as the RedHawks average 65.7 ppg. and allow 56.0 ppg. for a scoring margin of +9.8. Between the two seasons, Miami has a 19.7 improvement in scoring margin.
BOMBS AWAY: Miami ranks sixth in the MAC in three pointers made per game (7.2) and are third in percentage made from behind the arc (33.6%).
Enjulina Gonzalez (41.9%) ranks second in the MAC and nine different RedHawks shoot at least 30% from long distance.Â
