IRVINE, Calif.—The Miami University senior team opened the competitive portion of its schedule this weekend with the Synchro Fall Classic in Irvine, California. The RedHawks were one of six teams in the senior division and skated to a fourth-place finish.

- On Friday evening, the Red and White skated their short program and finished with a total score of 60.65.
- The team's technical element score was 31.73 and the program component score was 29.92.
- The RedHawks ranked fourth out of six teams after Friday's portion of the competition.
- On Saturday night, Miami's free skate earned a total score of 112.10, with a technical element score of 53.76 and a program component score of 60.34.
- This gave the RedHawks a final score of 172.75, good for fourth place in the overall standings just behind third-place Teams Elite. The Haydenettes finished first with a total score of 210.59.

- The Miami senior team is back in action Nov. 22-23 at the Boston Classic in Massachusetts.
