No. 20 Miami Hockey returns to the national rankings is off to a 7-1 start after splitting a weekend series with Arizona State in the RedHawks' NCHC opening weekend. Miami collected an electric 5-2 win, scoring three goals in just over four minutes, against the Sun Devils on Saturday. MU is idle until heading to Western Michigan Nov. 14-15. The RedHawks return home Nov. 21-22 when they host St. Cloud State. Friday will be the annual Teddy Bear Toss and there will be a toy drive at both games with donations going to local charities. Field Hockey Wins Ninth-Straight MAC Regular-Season Title!
No. 13 RedHawks Earn Top Seed in this Week's MAC Tourney
No. 13 Miami Field Hockey capped off a dominant regular season with a resounding 8-0 win against Longwood in the regular-season finale Friday to capture the RedHawks' ninth-straight MAC regular-season title. Miami has earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming MAC Tournament in Harrisonburg, Va., with the tournament returning to Oxford in 2026. Miami won its 20th MAC title under head coach Inako Puzo, who now owns more conference titles than any coach in any sport in Miami Athletics history. The RedHawks seek their eighth-consecutive tournament crown and 17th-straight MAC title between tournament and regular-season titles this weekend. Miami leads the nation in goals, assists, points, scoring average and scoring margin.

Miami Cross Country had a strong showing at the MAC Championships over the weekend. The RedHawk men's team finished second, led by Chris Perkins and Petros Sanchez in 13th and 14th, respectively. The Miami women finished fifth as a team, led by Marisa Heil, placing 14th.
Miami Soccer rides a nine-match unbeaten streak into this week's MAC Tournament in Columbus, Ohio. The RedHawks seized the No. 2 seed and a bye straight to the semifinals after topping Kent State in the regular-season finale. Six RedHawks were named to All-MAC teams.
Miami Swimming & Diving hosts Northern Kentucky at 3 p.m. Friday for their Cancer Awareness meet. The RedHawks then head to Akron for a women's meet against the Zips and a co-ed meet against Pitt.
Miami Tennis competed in the Purdue Invite over the weekend in the final fall competition.
