11/1/2025 9:24:00 PM | Women's Volleyball
OXFORD, Ohio— The Miami University volleyball team (13-13, 7-7 MAC) swept Bowling Green (13-13, 7-7 MAC) in a three-set match (25-20, 25-14, 25-7) on Saturday at Millett Hall. Chelsea Williams led all players with 11 kills, and Raegan Lantz followed closely behind with 10 kills. Lindy Radaszewski set the tone for the RedHawks by recording the most blocks (six) and service aces (two) of the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Despite early kills from Radaszewski and Lauren Coyne, Bowling Green opened with a 7-2 lead. Three Lantz kills kept the RedHawks close at 9-6. Errors from Bowling Green and a Chelsea Williams kill tied the score at 11-11. Leading 13-12, the RedHawks went on a 6-0 run to take a 19-12 lead. Bowling Green narrowed the gap to 19-17, but Miami responded, pushing ahead 23-18 and forcing a Falcons timeout. Lantz's fifth kill clinched a 25-20 first-set win for Miami.
 - The second set began close before Coyne's two kills and a Radaszewski ace put the RedHawks up 11-8. Leading 12-11, Miami closed the set on a 13-3 run for a 25-14 win. Lantz and Radaszewski combined for five kills and two blocks at the end of the set to seal the win.
 - The Red and White took advantage of a few attack errors by the visitors to lead 4-0 in the third set. Three kills from Williams and Radaszewski's second service ace of the match propelled Miami to an 8-1 lead. More attack errors from Bowling Green and a collection of RedHawk kills helped Miami separate from the Falcons. A Hayden Hicks service ace, as well as Coyne and Radaszewski teaming up to put down three blocks late in the third set, gave Miami a 23-7 advantage. A Creech service ace, plus a block from Radaszewski and Williams, ultimately secured a 25-7 third-set win.

NOTES:
- The RedHawks complete the weekend sweep over Bowling Green with back-to-back victories.
 - Radaszewski set a career-high six total blocks.
 - Hicks had the most assists (18) and Lindsay Kahren totaled the most digs (14) of the match.
