GOING STREAKING: Enjulina Gonzalez has scored in double figures eight-straight games, dating back to Dec. 1. During that span, she has surpassed 20 points four different times, including a season-high 29 points in a win at FIU. She was named MAC Player of the week twice during the month of December. She currently ranks fourth in the MAC in scoring (16.3).
DOUBLE TROUBLE: Amber Tretter recorded 10 double-doubles last season as a true freshman with the RedHawks. In fact, her 222 rebounds was the most in a single-season by a freshman in program history. This season she is nearly averaging a double-double in points (11.0) and rebounds (7.7), despite only playing 26.7 minutes per contest. She is coming off a season-best 13 rebounds in the loss to Central Michigan.
ABOUT BOWLING GREEN: Bowling Green enters Saturday's game at 7-7 overall and 1-2 in MAC play, which includes a 70-60 defeat to Buffalo on Wednesday. The Falcons average 69.8 points per game and are led by Amy Velasco, who averages 17.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest. BGSU ranks third in the MAC in rebounding margin (+5.3).
SERIES HISTORY: This will be the 94th meeting between the two schools with BGSU holding a 58-35 all-time advantage. BGSU has won seven of the past eight meetings dating back to March 4, 2020.
CMU RECAP: Enjulina Gonzalez had a team-high 11 points and
Amber Tretter chipped in eight points and a season-high 13 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as Miami fell 47-46 at Central Michigan on Wednesday night.Â
FORCING THE ISSUE: Miami has forced 293 turnovers this season, second-best in the conference. The RedHawks are 5-3 on the year when they force their opponent into 20-plus turnovers. Miami leads the conference with 12.4 steals/game.
WINNING WITH DEFENSE: Miami ranks atop the conference, allowing just 55.7 points per game. The RedHawks have held five opponents to under 50 points this season and ranks third in opponent field goal percentage (37.6%) Miami also allows 32.2 rebounds per game, best in the MAC.
CHASING RECORDS: A win over Bowling Green would move the RedHawks to nine wins on the year, matching last year's total (9-20). Miami did not pick up their ninth win until March 9 last season.
THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN: Coach Box added seven new faces to the 2024-25 season and their impact was felt immediately. Five of Miami's top six scorers are newcomers this season and five of the top seven rebounders were on a different team a year ago. Freshman

1,000 POINT CLUB: Maya Chandler has scored 1,122 career points between three different programs. She has scored 96 points with the RedHawks, had 149 points in one season at SMU and in three years at Loyola-Chicago she scored 877 points and was named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year in 2020-21. She has played in 130 games throughout her career, making 110 starts.
IN THE MAC: Miami has a handful of players at or near the top of several statistical categories.

Katey Richason, along with
Clare Chambers, are the lone remaining players prior to Coach Box's arrival. Richason has made the most of the change in leadership. Last season the Zionsville, Ind. native recorded career-bests in points (8.7), rebounds (5.7) and free throws made (34).
