Miami Hockey returns to action with a trip to Denver to face the defending national champion Pioneers. The RedHawks come in at 3-13-2 (0-8-0 NCHC) and have not played since a home series against North Dakota Dec. 6-7 (5-4 and 4-2 losses). No. 6/6 Denver is 15-5-0 (4-4-0 NCHC) after beginning the season with 12 consecutive victories. The Pioneers split a pair of non-conference games at then-No. 7 Maine last weekend (2-1 win Friday, 2-1 loss Saturday).
This week's games are set for Friday, Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET and Saturday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET. The games will stream on NCHC.tv, with radio coverage on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.) Friday and WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio) Saturday. Greg Waddell (play-by-play) will have the call.

Johnny Waldron (4-8-12) share the point lead for Miami, with Choupani pacing the team in goals. Waldron and
Colby Ambrosio (3-8-11) top the Red and White in assists. Goaltender
Bruno Bruveris has posted a 2-7-1 record (3.77 GAA, .875 save %), while
Ethan Dahlmeir is 1-5-1 between the pipes (3.45 GAA, .881 save %).
Brett Miller (3.38 GAA, .889 %) made his first start of the season in net in Miami's most recent game.
