Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

OXFORD, Ohio — Miami University baseball coach Brian Smiley announced his program's 2025 schedule today. The RedHawks' slate includes 22 home games at McKie Field at Hayden Park, with weekday and Friday games generally set for 3 p.m. starts and Saturday/Sunday contests usually beginning at 1 p.m.

Miami is coming off a 27-27 season in Smiley's first year at the helm, including a 17-13 mark in Mid-American Conference play and a berth in the 2024 MAC Tournament.

Miami gets the upcoming spring underway with a trip to Charleston, S.C. including a pair of games at Charleston Southern (Feb. 14 and 18) on either side of two at The Citadel (Feb. 15 and 16). The RedHawks will travel to East Tennessee State (Feb. 21-23) before hosting four games the next week, including the home opener against Wright State (Feb. 25) and a three-game series with Northern Kentucky (Feb. 28-March 2).

After midweek games at Wright State (March 4) and against Butler (March 5), the Red and White kick off Mid-American Conference play with a home series versus Toledo (March 7-9). The rest of the month includes MAC series against Northern Illinois (March 14-16), at Eastern Michigan (March 21-23) and vs. Western Michigan (March 28-30). Midweek dates in March include visits to Cincinnati (March 11) and Ohio State (March 18).

Miami's April schedule begins with a home contest against Cincinnati (April 1), followed by a conference series at Bowling Green (April 4-6). The RedHawks will participate once again in the Joe Nuxhall Classic at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio (April 8-9) before hosting Kent State for a trio of games April 11-13. A trip to play Kentucky (April 15) leads into a series at Central Michigan (April 17-19). Miami's final home game of the month comes April 22 against Bellarmine, ahead of a series at Ohio (April 25-27) and a midweek road game at Xavier (April 30).

In May, the RedHawks will head south to Birmingham, Ala. for a three-game series at Samford (May 2-4). Miami's final non-conference game of the year comes Tuesday, May 6 at Eastern Kentucky. The regular season wraps up with a home series against Akron (May 9-11) and a road series at Ball State (May 15-17) to conclude Mid-American Conference action.

The MAC Tournament is scheduled for May 21-24 at Crushers Stadium in Avon, Ohio.
