Miami Hockey continues NCHC action this week with a trip to face No. 3/4 Western Michigan. The RedHawks are 3-17-2 (0-12-0 NCHC) and dropped two games to (RV) Omaha last week (4-1 and 3-1). The 15-4-1 (8-1-1 NCHC) Broncos are riding a four-game win streak and swept then-No. 14 North Dakota in Grand Forks last weekend (3-2 [OT] and 5-1 wins).
This week's games are set for Friday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. in Kalamazoo, Mich. The games will stream on NCHC.tv, with Greg Waddell's radio broadcast airing on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.).
Johnny Waldron (4-10-14) leads the RedHawks in points and assists, and
Matt Choupani (5-7-12) tops the Red and White in goals.
Bruno Bruveris has posted a 2-10-1 record (3.91 GAA, .873 save percentage) in net, while
Ethan Dahlmeir is 1-5-1 between the pipes (3.45 GAA, .881 save %) but hasn't played since Dec. 6.
Brett Miller is 0-2-0 (3.27 GAA, .892 save %) and started Miami's most recent game.
