Practices Underway for Miami Skating

OXFORD, Ohio — Under first-year head coach Katey Nyquist, Miami Synchronized Skating is implementing and honing its competitive programs for the 2024-25 season. Miami's senior team has been on campus since late July, and the collegiate team returned to campus late last week.
The RedHawks' competitive schedule begins in November with the senior team at the Synchro Fall Classic (Nov. 8-9) and the collegiate team at the Kalamazoo Kickoff Classic (Nov. 22-24). Fans have an opportunity to see the teams skate in Oxford the weekend of Nov. 1-2. Both teams will perform at an intermission during the Nov. 1 Miami Hockey game. They return to the ice the following day at 3:30 p.m. for their annual Family & Alumni Weekend Exhibition at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena. The Saturday, Nov. 2 event is free and open to the public.
