Miami Basketball Signs Peter Suder

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University head men's basketball coach Travis Steele announced the signing of Peter Suder to his program for the 2024-25 season. Suder joins the RedHawks after two years at Bellarmine University.

PETER SUDER, 6'5, 220, Guard, Carmel, Ind./ Carmel High School/Bellarmine University

PRIOR TO MIAMI:

Averaged 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals during his freshman season at Bellarmine
Dished out a career-high eight assists at Evansville as a freshman
Named to ASUN All-Freshman Team in 2023
Recorded a career-high 11 rebounds versus Eastern Kentucky in his freshman season
Scored a career-high 24 points against Kennesaw St. as a freshman
Played 31 games and put up 10.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals as a sophomore

HIGH SCHOOL:

Attended Carmel High School in Indiana
Averaged 13.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game as a senior
Finished his career with 1,062 points and 572 rebounds
Was a starter on two state championship teams (freshman and junior year)
Led Carmel High School to an 18-6 record and a sectional finals appearance in his senior season
Named to the Indiana All-Star Team and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball in the spring of 2022
