DeKALB, Ill. — The Miami women finished the final day of the MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with 48.50 points and in seventh place, while the Miami men ended the weekend with 63 points and in fifth place. Logan Vowles led the way for the RedHawks on the field Saturday by finishing as the runner-up in the high jump, while the men's 4x400-meter relay team highlighted the runners by coming in second.

The NCAA East Regional First Round takes place in Lexington, Ky. from Wednesday, May 22nd to Saturday, May 25th.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the women, the 4x100-meter relay team of Camryn Dunn, Abby Suszek, Ella Scally and Lucca Agate finished in fifth place with a time of 45.92 seconds. In the women's 100-meter hurdle finals, Kayla Walters finished in fifth place with a time of 13.81 seconds. Suszek finished in fifth place in the women's 400-meter finals with a time of 54.90 seconds. In the women's 400-meter hurdle finals, Erin Connors finished in fourth place with a personal best time of 1:02.25. The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Dunn, Suszek, Connors, and Agate finished in fourth place with a time of 3:46.48.
- On the field for the women, Santornya Ralliford finished in ninth place in the discus throw with 43.20 meters.
- On the field for the men, Vowles finished in second place in the men's high jump event with a personal-best distance of 2.06 meters. In the men's discus throw, Adam Smith finished in fourth place with 52.14 meters. Andrew Farrow finished in fifth place in the men's triple jump event with a personal-best distance of 14.68 meters.
- For the men, the 4x400-meter relay team of Joey Valeski, Micah Schuster, Leo Bouldin and Eman Alfred finished in second place with a time of 3:13.75. The men's 4x100-meter relay team of Bouldin, Angelo Vassilakis, Jayson Harrison and Julian Wagner took third place with a time of 41.72 seconds. Wagner also ran in the men's 100-meter finals, and he finished in fifth place with a time of 10.38 seconds. Alfred finished in sixth place in the men's 110-meter hurdle finals with a time of 14.43 seconds. In the men's 400-meter finals, Bouldin (48.22 seconds) and Valeski (48.79 seconds) finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively. This is Bouldin's third straight PR in the 400-meter, topping his time from Friday by 0.40 seconds. Jaxson Tober (54.63 seconds) and Alfred (54.69 seconds) finished in sixth and seventh in the 400-meter hurdle finals.
- For the men, Chris Perkins (3:49.20), Will Goodrich (4:02.58), and Johnny Sayle (4:06.08) finished in fifth, seventh, and ninth place in the 1500-meter run, respectively. Perkins set a personal record and beat his previous best time by 4.43 seconds. In the 5,000-meter run, Nate Price (14:51.29) and Perkins (15:10.67) finished in fifth and ninth place.
- Mia Boule, who won the pole vault earlier this weekend, was recognized by the MAC after the meet as the conference's Women's Track and Field Freshman Field Performer of the Year.
