Hawks Move to Fourth at Calusa Cup

NAPLES, Fla. — The RedHawks moved from seventh to fourth place during round two of the Calusa Cup at Calusa Pines Golf Club. Sophomore Brett Podobinski is leading the team and is tied for first individually in a field of 42.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Podobinski scored a 69, or three below par, during the second round. This five-birdie round boosted him to the top of the field alongside Florida Gator Jack Turner, who is tied with him for first at five strokes below par overall.
- Danny Fisher was even with par during round two after making three birdies and 13 pars. He is looking to breach the top ten tomorrow as he is currently tied for 12th individually.
- Morgan Blythe is tied for 25th individually after making four birdies in round two. He shot four over par on the day.
- Michael Weber shot seven over par in round two. He is 11 over par and tied for 34th overall.
- Matthew Mattioli is 12 over par and in 39th overall. He shot five over par in round two.
- The RedHawks are 13 above par through two rounds. Miami is tied with #15 Georgia Tech and is just four strokes behind third place #32 Wake Forest.
