Four RedHawks Finish in the Top-25 at Jewell Invite

RALEIGH, N.C. — Four RedHawks competed as individuals at the Jewell Invitational hosted by Northern Kentucky Saturday and Sunday, each finishing in the top 25 out of more than 75 golfers. Evan DiSanto finished in second place overall after posting back-to-back 68s in rounds two and three.

The RedHawk team is in Naples, Fla., wrapping up round one of the prestigious Calusa Cup hosted by the University of Iowa. Round two begins tomorrow morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- DiSanto (71-68-68–207) shot three below par in rounds two and three and accumulated 14 total birdies through three rounds to secure his top two finish.
- Cameron Pero (71-69-73–213) finished even with par through three rounds, tying for seventh individually. His performance was highlighted by six birdies in round two.
- Sam West (71-71-71–213) also finished even with par, tying for seventh overall after shooting par in each of the three rounds.
- Egor Zotov (70-76-72–218) finished five over par and tied for 22nd overall. His tournament was highlighted by four birdies in round one.
