OXFORD, Ohio— Miami was shut out by Ball State 2-0 Saturday after being held to just five hits. Miami falls to 12-16 (7-7 MAC) with the loss while Ball State moves to 20-12 (7-7 MAC) with the victory.

- Ball State managed to turn a ground rule double into a run with an RBI single in the second to go ahead 1-0.
