OXFORD, Ohio— Miami University Hockey announced its 2024-25 season schedule today. The RedHawks' 34-game regular-season slate includes 19 home dates at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena, the most since 2006-07.
The non-conference portion of the schedule includes a visit to Ferris State and home series against Alaska Anchorage, Lindenwood and RPI. The RedHawks will also play a home-and-home series with Robert Morris.
With the NCHC adding a ninth team for next season, the Red and White will host every conference opponent except Colorado College and St. Cloud State, including home series against defending national champion Denver and defending Penrose Cup champion North Dakota. Miami will travel to each NCHC foe except Arizona State and North Dakota.
The RedHawks open the season for the second year in a row at Ferris State (Oct. 5-6) before returning home to welcome Alaska Anchorage (Oct. 11-12). Miami then hosts Robert Morris on Oct. 17 and faces the Colonials in Pennsylvania two days later. October concludes with a series against Lindenwood (Oct. 25-26) at Cady Arena.
The RedHawks begin November with a home non-conference series against RPI (Nov. 1-2) before NCHC play gets underway with a trip to St. Cloud State (Nov. 8-9). The RedHawks host Minnesota Duluth (Nov. 15-16) and travel to Omaha (Nov. 22-23) before concluding the 2024 portion of the schedule at home against North Dakota (Dec. 6-7).
2025 begins with a visit to Denver (Jan. 10-11), followed by a home series against Omaha (Jan. 17-18). The RedHawks will travel to Western Michigan (Jan. 24-25) and return to Oxford for a series with Arizona State (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) before an early-February bye week.
The Red and White return to Colorado to take on Colorado College (Feb. 14-15), with a home matchup against reigning national champion Denver on tap next (Feb. 21-22). Miami's two final regular-season series will be at Minnesota Duluth (Feb. 28-March 1) and then against Western Michigan in Oxford (March 7-8).
The NCHC postseason will feature a March 12 play-in game (No. 8 seed vs. a No. 9 seed) leading into the quarterfinal round (March 14-16), with the Frozen Faceoff set for March 21-22 in St. Paul, Minn.
